Prepare regulatory submissions (Transmission, Distribution, RRO, Facility, Generic Cost of Capital and other regulatory applications) and related research or analyses for filing with the Alberta Utilities Commission
Carry out research on regulatory mechanisms, levers, structures and decisions in and outside of the jurisdictions where ENMAX operates
Review and collect financial data and provide quality assurance related to financial information filed with the Alberta Utilities Commission
Assist with obtaining and reviewing internal and expert studies needed to support defense of regulatory applications and coordinate the gathering of information from Business Units and Shared Services units that maximizes the potential for a successful AUC regulatory decision
Anticipate issues that may arise in the proceedings and work with external consultants and legal counsel in the preparation of regulatory filings
Assist with and support the development of regulatory strategy and approach
Represent the company at stakeholder meetings
As required, provide support to ENMAX witnesses before the Alberta Utilities Commission
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (economics, accounting, finance, engineering, law or other related degree)
7 years of progressively responsible relevant experience (Post-graduate degrees are preferred)
Extensive experience with the electric industry (preferably Alberta)
Accounting designation or experience is preferred
Project management experience is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills, able to communicate with all levels within the organization
Strong project management skills
Ensures accurate content in regulatory applications
Ability to identify improvements on application preparation, processes, forecasting and reporting
Understanding the business and the environment in which it operates
Problem solving, analytical, strategic thinking and planning skills
Exceptional time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to bring together cross functional teams and business processes

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
