Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work on technical or specialty area problems is expected to reflect sound judgment and analysis.
2. Assist with Front End Developer software development.
3. Create and edit STAR videos.
4. Design and update all STAR web applications and images.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. As typically acquired/evidenced by pertinent baccalaureate educational degree and 4 years of progressively responsible professional web design and information technology experience with responsibilities for software/web graphical design and development; possession of the following competencies in technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills:
2. Experience and Functional knowledge of all STAR software design and web development demonstrated by knowledge, understanding and ability to apply principles, concepts, methodology, design principles and terminology using STAR brand guidelines.
3. Experience and functional knowledge and understanding and experience of technology, systems, hardware and software associated with STAR software development.
4. Experience and working knowledge of STAR software; including, but not limited to Balance, Academic Logic, Giving Tree and STAR GPS.
5. Demonstrated ability to recognize software and web design implementation problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.
6. Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
7. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal organizations, groups, team members and individuals.
8. Bachelors degree in Graphic Web Design or related fields.
9. Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, jQuery, AJAX and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, XD, Premier Pro, Lightroom, After Effects and Photoshop.
10. Experience in Web Video production using DaVinci Resolve.
11. Knowledge of version control tools such as CVS, SVN or GIT.
12. Experience in modem IDEs
13. Any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in Graphic Design or Computer Science or related fields.
2. Experience in GUI design and Tomcat.
3. Knowledge of open source frameworks (Angular).
