What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Establish immediate contact with Policyholders regarding their loss and assess damage
- Set and manage reserves within designated authority
- Prepare estimates and obtain agreed scope of work and cost of repair
- Properly document claim files and submit final reports for closure
- Assign and supervise the handling of property losses by independent adjusters when necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of claims handling experience, including two years of property claims handling experience
- Strong technical knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques
- Successful completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) program preferred
- Proficiency with estimating software preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility) or equivalent
- Appropriate license as required by state
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Willingness to travel frequently on short notice for periods in excess of two consecutive weeks
