      We’re looking for a new CBTC Director in our Systems group to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them.

      As a CBTC Director, you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Lead the MTA CBTC modernization projects.
      • Manage the project finance and prepare the annual budget forecast
      • Growth the CBTC business at MTA
      • Be responsible and lead efforts for finding, hiring, mentoring and growing members of CBTC team
      • Explore new business generation discovery, proposal and capture activities in the scope of the System sector
      • Ensure an environment where safety, security and ethical issues are always at the forefront of our day-to-day decisions
      • Maintain interaction and communication with clients and all other internal SYSTRA departments on issues that effect your team’s overall environment

      Required Qualifications:

      • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in rail systems engineering design and project management
      • Experience leading and driving multi-departmental efforts for new client business generation in transit and rail systems engineering specialties
      • Demonstrated experience in finding, hiring, mentoring and growing highly technical transit and rail systems engineering design teams
      • Global experience with numerous public and private transit and rail sector clients
      • Positive and successful experience with a variety of project delivery types and working environments
      • Experience managing daily, weekly, monthly and annual project budgets that meet or exceed our client’s expectations

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Advanced degree(s)
      • Professional certifications
      • International project experience

      Salary Range: $174,200-243,880
