What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review medical records for complete and accurate documentation of relevant diagnoses and procedures
- Initiate and complete queries as necessary to ensure accurate data regarding patient visits
- Adhere to guidelines set forth by ACDIS, AAPC, and AHIMA
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with clients, co-workers, and management to meet specific assignment needs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of clinical documentation experience
- Current RN license or a graduate of medical school with 5+ years of acute care experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills for clinical evaluation of medical records
- Proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills with management and clients

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCDS or CDIP certification
- BSN in addition to RN license preferred
