      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review patient medical records and accurately translate information into coding for insurance claims
      - Ensure correct coding assignment and sequencing according to government and insurance regulations
      - Perform Evaluation and Management coding, ICD-10, and HCPCS quality reviews
      - Collaborate with the AR department on coding-related issues and assist in resolving documentation deficiencies
      - Maintain compliance with relevant coding regulations, standards, and company policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Certified Pro-Fee with a minimum of 3-5 years of medical coding experience
      - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
      - Credentialing through AHIMA and/or AAPC is required
      - Strong understanding of physician documentation requirements in a clinic setting
      - Technical proficiency with medical software systems and basic Microsoft Office applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Cardiology experience preferred
      - Experience with Provider Based and Rural Health preferred
      - Specialty certification (CPC, CEMC, CPMA, CRC, CPB, CCS-P, RHIT) is a plus
      - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
      - Strong organizational and communication skills
