- Review warnings/errors in EPIC related to coding
- Maintain knowledge of insurance, CPT coding, and diagnosis guidelines
- Verify provider chosen codes for procedures
- Run daily reconciliation reports for charges
- Maintain query communication with providers for documentation issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- One of the following certifications: AAPC (CPC, CPC-A), PMIC (CMC), AHIMA (CCS-P)
- 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a billing and managed care department
- Knowledge of insurance claim submission regulations
