What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage patients via phone, text, or video to assist with data entry and medical record collection
- Complete the Prior Authorization Process from beginning to end
- Process and document Patient Referrals internally and externally
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to ensure they are prepared for patient appointments
- Maintain and transfer information within the Electronic Health Record system

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; 2+ years of college preferred
- Completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program (CCMA, CMA, etc.)
- Minimum of 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- 5+ years of customer service experience required
- EHR experience required, preferably with Athenahealth

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- LPN/LVN or nursing student training is helpful
- Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Teams or Zoom
- Proficient in Microsoft software, including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
