What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including obtaining vital signs and reviewing medical history
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatment
- Manage virtual clinic and clinician schedules to maximize efficiency and patient flow
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of patient visits in the electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators to facilitate daily huddles and address patient needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Washington State Medical Assistant Certified or Medical Assistant Interim certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly preferred at time of hire
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using EPIC
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and proficiency in clinical procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for gathering patient history
