What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Read and interpret health record documentation to identify all diagnoses and procedures affecting outpatient encounters
- Assess the adequacy of health record documentation to ensure it supports all assigned codes
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical terminology to accurately assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
- Review and perform data charge entry for hospital and physician patient accounting systems
- Organize and prioritize assigned work queues daily to ensure timely completion of tasks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess one of the following certifications: CCA, CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Ability to perform constant physical activities such as hearing and manipulating items with fingers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management
- Two years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
