What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Read and interpret health record documentation to identify diagnoses and procedures affecting outpatient encounters
- Assess the adequacy of health record documentation to support assigned codes
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, clinical disease processes, and coding terminology to assign accurate codes
- Maintain understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding classification systems
- Organize and prioritize work queues for daily review and coding tasks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
- Certification as CCA, CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management
- Two (2) years of coding experience
