What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as lead on consulting projects, executing simulations for clients
- Provide technical pre-sales support and guidance throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with sales teams to analyze customer technical needs and propose simulation solutions
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of project deliverables and support solutions
- Conduct ANSYS training and provide technical support to enhance client technology adoption
What is Required (Qualifications):
- M.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on fluid dynamics
- Over 3 years of industrial and design experience related to fluid systems
- More than 3 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods
- Proven proficiency in using Ansys Fluent and/or CFX software
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Registered Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, but not mandatory
- Experience with 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Ansys SpaceClaim
- A passion for personal technical excellence and staying updated on simulation advancements
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek assistance
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for project needs
