Job Description

- Manage subcontractor packages and interface between design and site delivery – Architecture, Civils, Structures etc with particular focus on MEP work
- Identify Technical Change is captured within the contractor’s design proposals for the Mechanical and/or Electrical Buildings Services packages
- Ensure programme and design progress are aligned
- Manage SCC interfaces and identify potential scope gap
- Interface management of MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire & Communications) across all disciplines
- Close out MEPHFC design assumptions
- Manage the Design risk register for the joint venture MEPHFC
- Monitor and identify Systemwide interfaces
- Qualified to a minimum HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Ideally an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (CIBSE or IET)
- Demonstrable experience in an infrastructure technical design delivery environment essential
- Buildings Services Engineering experience from a design or delivery perspective with significant Mechanical or Electrical Buildings Services expertise
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Attention to detail
- Team focussed
- Able to be present in the office for 3 days a week

SYSTRA now have a key opportunity for a Change Design Manager with specific MEP engineering experience to join our growing team during an exciting period of project delivery. The role will be based in Northwest London and supports our Technical Experts in delivering Mechanical or Electrical Buildings services engineering expertise for the delivery of the design services packages on one of the UK’s largest transport infrastructure projects, as well as broader involvement in our MEP discipline. This role benefits from the flexibility of hybrid working.
