      Channel Marketing Internship

      The Blueprint (Role Summary)

      Interns are assigned to an organization department based on background, skill set, and interests. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the opportunity to take responsibility for a major task. Interns experience a sense of personal accomplishment and contribution while experiencing the corporate business culture through work assignments and structured activities. Each intern assignment consists of challenging projects with specific goals, providing opportunities for personal growth and development.

      The Build (Job Responsibilities)

      · Gain an in-depth understanding of day-to-day marketing operations by working alongside high-performing marketing professionals.

      · Participate in competitive monitoring, tracking promotional activities, and merchandising trends directly impacting business growth initiatives and engaging in the creative process.

      · Analyze the marketplace and debrief the team, while gaining exposure to sales, finance, IT, and brand marketing.

      · Gain an appreciation for all aspects of the business through collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams.

      · Research the latest trends, prepare detailed promotional presentations, and assist with researching and evaluating competitor marketing to support product development, along with merchandising elements.


      The Toolbox (Qualifications)

      · Incoming Junior or Senior undergraduate student in a Marketing or Business major

      · GPA of 3.0 or higher

      · PowerPoint is life – you are a proven, proficient user of MS Office (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

      · Think fast! You like juggling multiple projects efficiently, and you enjoy the flexibility of changing priorities.

      · You produce quality work – you comb over details and stay organized.

      · Whether it’s written or in person, you communicate effectively and professionally.

      · You treat all tasks and projects assigned to you with an entrepreneurial spirit – you fully own your work and have pride in what you do.

      · Previous internship or work experience preferred.
