What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform daily charge entry preparation for all patients, including verifying demographics, registering patients, and coding diagnoses
- Identify patients with diagnoses for PQRI requirements and conduct appropriate research
- Maintain competence in policies of various insurance companies
- Review patient status changes daily and follow up with the Central Billing Office for accurate billing
- Provide ongoing education to physicians on coding and billing

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPT coding guideline knowledge and ICD-10 knowledge
- Close attention to detail and familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of one year office experience in a similar setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
- Proficiency in medical billing software
