- Take equipment from a rough concept to full production.
- Manage equipment suppliers or internal design teams through development and deployment milestones including PO release, FAT, SAT, SOP, and Ramp.
- Develop station requirements such as work content, automated versus manual processes, buffering strategy, and redundancy requirements.
- Collaborate with industrial engineering to develop material flow strategy within the factory.
- Identify utilities needed and create a utility distribution strategy including PDPs, compressed air, and process water.
- Complete process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA).
- Develop equipment timing charts.
- Oversee equipment installation and coordinate with building and utilities team.
- Develop and execute equipment validation plans.
- Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with multiple new equipment design/installations and large manufacturing lines implementation.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts such as line balancing and timing charts.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience designing mechanical equipment, fixturing, and tooling in CAD (SolidWorks preferred, Catia is a plus).
- Understanding of tolerance stack up and manufacturing equipment safety systems (Safety PLCs, safety category requirements, robot safety, safety guarding, light curtains, LOTO, etc.).
- PLC controls experience (Siemens and/or Beckhoff).
- Experience with MES and database system architecture and data tracking (Python and/or MYSQL).
- Experience in chemical engineering, chemical manufacturing, welding, notching, stacking, coating, calendarizing.
- BS in Chemical Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $168000.00/yr.
