      The Chief Compliance Officer is critical leadership role will work closely with all leader members at INTEGRIS Health on compliance and privacy matters to establish and maintain an effective compliance program for the operations and strategic growth of INTEGRIS Health and all subsidiary companies. The Compliance Officer will have direct, overall responsibility for the development, implementation and administration of a comprehensive, organization-wide compliance program to ensure the enterprise is compliant with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.

      The Chief Compliance Officer will report dually to the Chief Executive Officer and Audit and Compliance Committee of the Governing Board for strategic and programmatic purposes and to the General Counsel for administrative purposes.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in business, health-care administration, area of clinical expertise, or other related field
      • Master's degree in business, law, health administration equivalent preferred or Healthcare Compliance Professional certification required.
      • 7 years' experience in leading compliance efforts in either a complex regulatory environment, preferably a large scale, multi-facility healthcare system or integrated delivery network health care Compliance
      • Knowledgeable of current national healthcare policies, regulations and trends in enforcement environment
      • Knowledge of leadership, management, and quality improvement concepts
      • This job requires the incumbent to operate an INTEGRIS Health-owned vehicle or personal vehicle; incumbent must, therefore, have a current driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the INTEGRIS Health insurance carrier.

      Responsibilities

      The Chief Compliance Officer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Provides leadership, compliance and privacy expertise to INTEGRIS Health Executive Leadership Team and to the INTEGRIS Health Board of Directors Audit and Compliance Committee.
      • Continually audits and monitors the performance of the compliance program in consideration of the seven elements of an effective program in accordance with regulatory guidance and takes appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
      • Deploys a Compliance Committee framework of information gathering and disbursement, overseeing efficacy of committees at the executive leadership, executive management, business unit, service line, and operations levels.
      • Develops an annual Compliance Risk Assessment and Work Plan and annual budget for the department
      • Serves as the designated system Privacy Officer.
      • Facilitates effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program throughout Operations by collaborating with other departments
      • Provides regular reports as directed or requested to keep Chief Executive Officer and Audit/Compliance Committee of the INTEGRIS Health Board of Directors informed of the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program
      • Develops policies, procedures, and standard work for the general operation and continuous improvement of the Corporate Compliance Program
      • Responds to internal complaints and inquiries as well as government investigations as the principal point of contact.
      • Institutes and maintains effective training programs for the organization on matters pertaining to Corporate Compliance Program
      • Manages and oversees operations and budget of areas of responsibility to ensure compliance with organizational requirements and goals.
      • Champions the INTEGRIS Health Way and continuous improvement to enhance organization success.
      • Participates in INTEGRIS Health strategies for institutional goals and objectives.
