Schedule Weekly Hours:
40Child Life Spring Internship 2024 (January 22 - May 10, 2024)
The child life internship is professional preparation for child life certification and entry level child life specialist position. The intern will gain experience working with children 0-18, their caregiver(s), and the medical team to assist in coping with stressful healthcare experiences. The internship will consist of two rotations, one in outpatient clinics and surgical care and one in emergency services and inpatient care.
This is an unpaid, non-benefited 600+ hour internship. Applicants can be with or without University affiliation.

Job Description:
Gundersen Health System provides a professional hands-on experience tailored to meet the interests of the interns in conjunction with the current activities of the department. Internships are available to students who have graduated from or are currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelors or master's degree program.
