What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a team of project managers in the underwriting and management of affordable housing projects
- Oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage financial modeling and risk analysis related to tax credit developments
- Act as the primary contact for developers during the underwriting and closing process
- Draft and present comprehensive transaction memoranda to stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects
- At least 5 years of underwriting and closing experience in LIHTC or commercial real estate (CRE)
- Proven experience in people management and team leadership
- Strong technical knowledge of the LIHTC program and related tax credit programs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or business from an accredited university
- 9+ years of LIHTC experience and 7+ years of underwriting and closing experience
- Experience with tax credit syndications and advanced proficiency in Excel modeling
- Familiarity with limited partnership agreements and loan documents
- Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
