      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and oversee multiple local program projects, ensuring continuity in design and construction phases
      - Utilize independent judgment to scope, schedule, and budget transportation improvement projects
      - Collaborate with consultants and manage contracts, supporting negotiations as needed
      - Ensure overall project quality and adherence to regional performance measures
      - Travel up to 25% of the time for project oversight and site evaluations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Valid Professional Engineering registration, with the ability to obtain Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if registered in another state
      - Proven experience in project management within civil engineering or transportation infrastructure
      - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to manage complex projects
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
      - Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment on significant transportation projects

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience managing local government transportation projects or programs
      - Familiarity with Wisconsin transportation policies and regulations
