What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee project scheduling and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, serving as the main point of contact
- Draft proposals for new projects and manage change orders
- Allocate resources effectively among project teams
- Approve and edit timesheets for direct reports and lead project meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer's (PE) license
- 4 to 10 years of experience in the transmission or distribution line industry
- 4 to 5 years of project management experience or experience as a lead engineer on projects
- Experience working for major Investor Owned Utilities in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications in project management or engineering specialties
- Experience in business development and client outreach
- Familiarity with engineering design activities related to power delivery systems
