This individual will be responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power and Federal.
In the role of Site Civil EIT, we'll count on you to:
•Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation
•Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage
•Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
•Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
•Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
•Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
•Perform other duties as needed*LI-MJ1
Required Qualifications
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline is required
• EIT
• Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3D is required
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong preference given to candidates with previous site civil experience
• Strong knowledge of modeling software such as Hydraflow Storm Sewers, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD, etc.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering consulting firm is desired
• Local candidates are preferred
