What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Acquire, analyze, and investigate death certificates, beneficiary designations, and financial information to make timely claim decisions
- Communicate compassionately with agents and beneficiaries via various channels
- Provide clients with updates on policy provisions, claim decisions, and overall claim process
- Supervise and follow up on outstanding items to ensure compliance with regulations and quality guidelines
- Adapt to frequent changes and make independent decisions to resolve issues effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of claims or customer service experience or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Proficiency in desktop applications, including MS Office and web applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in life insurance claim processing
- Strong math skills
- Ability to navigate multiple software and web applications efficiently
- Proven ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
