What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle pending Automobile Casualty losses, including minor to high severity Bodily Injury claims
- Screen losses and determine coverage exposures
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate all aspects of automobile claims
- Provide appropriate directions to outside vendors, including independent adjusters and attorneys
- Maintain frequent contact with other departments and external organizations to obtain or provide sensitive information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates Degree or technical/specialized knowledge or equivalent related experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or High School equivalent plus 5-7 years
- Prior claims adjusting experience in Bodily Injury required
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical terminology and liability
- Insurance Industry education strongly preferred
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with basic computer systems
