Assure the prompt reporting and inputting of Claims electronic data
Recording claim recoveries in the system
Indexing incoming e-mail and tasking to the claims Examiner via computer system
Generates Claims acknowledgments
Perform ISO Claim searches
Assist in report preparation
Assure the timely completion and distribution of general clerical functions and those tasks consistent with a support role
Maintain database and spreadsheet files
Light typing
Creation of Excel spreadsheets
Telephone communication with clients
Uploading documentation into claims system from physical and cloud based drives.

Salary: $58,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

We also act as a TPA for Workers Compensation for various self-insured schools & municipalities in New York.
This Claims Assistant position is responsible to support our P&C Insurance Claims Department by performing a variety of computer functions along with general office clerical functions and provides support services for the claims and litigation teams.
