What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a caseload of low to moderate severity/complexity property and casualty insurance claims
- Analyze insurance claims to determine applicable coverage and assess liability
- Engage in verbal and written communication with claimants, attorneys, and policyholders
- Ensure compliance with state claims handling requirements and internal guidelines
- Maintain thorough documentation of claims files and processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree preferred
- One to three years of claims handling experience
- Experience in working with liability and coverage issues
- Ability to obtain required state adjusters' licenses within six months of training
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys
- Multi-jurisdictional claims experience preferred
- Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
- Advanced Degree or Juris Doctorate Degree preferred
- Minimum of seven years of P&C claims handling experience preferred
