      Claims Fraud Intelligence Manager

      Salary: National between £32,000 - £42,000, London – between £32,000 - £52,000

      We have an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about fighting fraud to join Aviva’s award-winning Claims Counter Fraud Team as our Claims Fraud Intelligence Manager. To be successful we are looking for someone with a background in Intelligence Management (ideally a L4 qualified Intelligence Analyst or equivalent) and team leadership.

      A bit about the job:

      To tackle the rising cost of insurance fraud, Aviva has a dedicated Counter Fraud Team who focus on detecting, defending, and deterring fraud (across all business lines) and protecting the innocent customers who fall victim to fraudsters.

      As part of this team, you will be leading an intelligence team of 10 using the National Intelligence Model to provide the business with intelligence support on ongoing investigations and proactively producing new intelligence and reports to inform decision making on potential new investigations.

      Additionally, we are looking for someone with a broad knowledge and experience in Counter Fraud who would be able to step in and deputise for the Senior Counter Fraud Manger when required.

      Ideally based at our Norwich office but we are prepared to consider other locations.

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • Experience in the design of intelligence services and approaches for both detection and investigation and delivery through management of the collation, research and dissemination of operational fraud intelligence from key information sources

      • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders (Insurance Fraud Bureau, and Counter Fraud Agencies) in order to detect and disrupt fraud

      • Skilled in setting team and individual performance objectives, monitoring performance, assessing progress, identifying emerging risks, issues and opportunities, and taking corrective steps as required to ensure that the right results are achieved

      • Able to develop and motivate a team and create strong engagement of individuals with their personal and team objectives and with Aviva values, behaviours and strategic priorities

      • Able to develop trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders to collaborate and ensure that their needs and concerns are fully understood and responded to in an appropriate way

      • National salary between £32,000 - £42,000 London salary between £32,000 - £52,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
