What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research inquiries related to denied, rejected, or underpaid claims for services rendered by independent physicians and vendors
- Handle correspondence and emails from payors and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims for the employer's Lines of Business
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in Managed Care, provider billing, and/or customer service with a bachelor's degree; or three (3) years of experience without a bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Familiarity with ICD 10 and CPT4 coding as well as medical terminology
- Understanding of coordination of benefits regulations and various payment methodologies (e.g., DRG, APC)

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience in a healthcare-related billing or claims processing role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
- Previous experience in customer service within a healthcare context
