What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently manage medical malpractice claims for assigned members
- Develop a plan of action on assigned cases in conjunction with defense counsel and supervisor
- Consult with external stakeholders to optimize results of the investigation and discovery process
- Provide ongoing support and keep members informed throughout the claims process
- Attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials as necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Juris Doctorate preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years of medical malpractice or equivalent claims-related experience
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders

- Experience in medical malpractice claims management
- Familiarity with legal processes related to claims resolution
- Proven track record of successful negotiations in claims settlements
- Experience working with healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of risk management principles
