What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage day-to-day claims operations and establish action plans for claim resolution
- Review claims status and consider client costs in action planning
- Advocate and consult with clients, providing coverage advice as necessary
- Search for new home care agencies, durable medical equipment companies, and other service providers
- Manage billing, quoting, and negotiating rates with adjusters and vendors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail in reviewing medical records, orders, and emails
- Ability to prioritize efficiently and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills to manage claims and maintain accurate records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in claims management within healthcare or related fields
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and terminology
- Proficient in using claim management software or databases
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Experience working with insurance adjusters and legal teams
