What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims, determining exposure and managing claims to timely resolution
- Negotiate settlements and manage claim reserves throughout the lifecycle of the claim
- Ensure timely claim payments and prepare necessary state filings within statutory limits
- Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation
- Communicate effectively with claimants and clients, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring proper documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Subject matter expertise in insurance principles, laws, and cost containment strategies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional certifications related to the line of business preferred
- Experience in handling complex or high-exposure claims
- Familiarity with medical management practices and Social Security/Medicare application procedures
