What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and implement the Lake Erie Basin component of the Ohio Clean Marinas and Clean Boater Programs
- Develop and conduct education programs related to marina and boating best practices
- Coordinate and direct outreach efforts, including displays at boat shows and community events
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to certified and pledged Ohio Clean Marinas
- Maintain program databases and prepare reports on activities and accomplishments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in limnology, aquatic biology, marine or natural resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in environmental education or a similar field
- Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in networking
- Ability to prepare and deliver educational materials to diverse audiences
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for job duties

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience on Lake Erie and familiarity with boating practices
- Teaching experience (formal or non-formal) is a plus
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding marinas and boating
- Skills in developing presentations and using spreadsheets
- Outgoing personality with strong team-building and collaborative skills
