What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new referrals, including verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
- Document all insurance plan details, including coinsurance, copays, and authorization requirements
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification
- Initiate and secure prior authorization and medical review, including clinical document submissions
- Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to multitask and meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of HIPAA regulations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with CPR+ software
- Experience in home infusion prior authorization and benefits verification
