What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting coverage for medications and infusion services
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibilities based on benefit verification and payer contracts
- Initiate and secure prior authorizations and pre-determinations, including reviewing clinical documents
- Communicate status updates regarding referrals and coverage to patients and other stakeholders
- Assist patients with financial needs by referring them to manufacturer copay assistance programs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of HIPAA regulations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CPR+ software
- Strong understanding of insurance payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and referral sources
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated passion for improving patient care and outcomes
