What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify insurance benefits for specialty medications and services, documenting coverage details
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification and payer contracts
- Initiate and secure prior authorization, including reviewing and obtaining necessary clinical documents
- Communicate updates on pending referrals with patients, referral sources, and internal departments
- Generate new patient start of care paperwork and assist patients with financial assistance programs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Home infusion experience required
- Experience with referrals, benefit verifications, and authorizations required
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
