What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify insurance benefits for specialty medications and services and document coverage details
- Initiate and track authorization requests, ensuring timely referral processing
- Communicate updates on pending referrals to patients and other stakeholders
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification
- Assist patients in enrolling in copay assistance programs when needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Home infusion experience required
- At least 2 years of experience with referrals, benefit verifications, and authorizations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home infusion pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement
- Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
