      Clerical Assistant 1 (Child Support Financial)

      Pay Rate: $16.00 to $20.24 Per Hour

      Closing Date: November 21, 2022 or sooner upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions.

      Job Summary: The Clerical Assistant I uploads and scans child support documents into the system, prints and mails paperwork out, and performs varied clerical tasks.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Process all e-filing requests from financial e-mail inbox and scan them into Onbase. Scan any other child support orders coming from Clerk of Courts or scanning bin.
      • Process any checks that come in from the mailroom and send in mail to the child support trust fund.
      • Print out payment records to be mailed out to rental assistance.
      • Mail out any documents automatically printed from the child support system.
      • Pick up any documents or files from Clerk of Courts.
      • Other miscellaneous clerical duties as may be assigned.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
      • Current resident of the State of Wisconsin
      • At least one-year of full-time clerical experience is required

      Required Skills and Abilities:

      Team player with the ability to work harmoniously and effectively with both co-workers and external contacts. Must possess oral and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of computer and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets. Frequent contact with employees across other departments and external entities to gather factual information of a confidential manner. The ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, routine reports, forms and correspondences. The ability to Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 05lbs as needed.
