What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Guide clients through the onboarding process, managing timelines, milestones, and communication
- Support clients and their employees during open enrollment, including eligibility verification and plan selection
- Facilitate the completion and submission of carrier setup paperwork
- Conduct training sessions for clients and their employees on using the platform
- Maintain accurate onboarding notes and documentation for continuous improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, benefits account management, or benefits administration
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Life and Health Insurance License highly preferred
- At least one year of client management or project management experience
- Strong understanding of health benefits administration and open enrollment processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of health and welfare benefit plans, compliance, and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA legislation
- Demonstrated experience with agency management systems and reviewing plan designs
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher
