Who we're looking for
We're looking for an Analyst to join our Client Static Data and Documentation team to provide client data management services for all Schroders Wealth Management entities worldwide (incl. account and portfolio openings, data maintenance and client closures.) You will have some previous experience and will work independently under the supervision of Lead Analyst 2's.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on meeting tight deadlines. A strong interest in learning and harnessing technology will help you with your role in the organisation.
You will be flexible, creative and curious enough to take on a challenge, rather than tick off set tasks on a to-do list.

The Schroders CampusYou'll be based at Schroders Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. That's home to our operational teams, product reporting and operational oversight for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
What you'll do
• Maintain and setup client Masterfiles (incl. opening of accounts and portfolios for clients, Third Party Customers, lntragroup Entities, Custodians, Correspondent Banks, Brokers, and Counterparties);
• Maintain the client reporting scheduler including setup of third-party recipient addresses;
• Handle client fees including special fee setup and setup for fee calculation for Independent Financial Advisors;
• Setup and maintenance of new web user clients (client static data) for eServices (online reporting service) and for e-library including client's reporting scheduler;
• Maintain debit and credit interest records on client accounts as well as maintenance of default interest rates on account groups;
• Preparation, administration and technical closure of accounts and portfolios;
• Provide support and advisory services to the local Client Documentation teams in UK, Guernsey and Singapore regarding client static data in general;
• Manage client and stakeholder queries pro-actively, liaising with external and internal partners with particular focus on quality and timeliness of communication;
• Utilise department controls and procedures honestly and effectively, taking steps to escalate potential problems before they become risks;
• Suggest, explore and help to implement ideas to save time and cost, reduce risk and improve service quality;
• Collaborate with others to help build a positive and supportive working environment;
• Work through high volumes, prioritise, and manage workload according to risk or deadlines;
• Contribute to department and Company initiatives and projects;The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Experience in a bank, asset or wealth management working with client data and documentation;
• Strong aptitudes for numeracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment;
• Good at analysing and solving problem with a strong handle on operational risk;
• Pro-active and effective in managing your own time with ability to prioritise tasks appropriately;
• Open to feedback, receptive to change, challenges status quo and continually looks out for team and self improvement opportunities;
• Proficient in basic software notably Excel.
• Banking apprenticeship or similar education;What you'll be like
