What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct audits on clinical documentation of inpatient encounters
- Develop and implement educational programs for ongoing CDI education
- Collaborate with CDI leadership to identify documentation issues
- Stay current with official coding guidelines and agency directives
- Create clear and accurate audit findings and recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience in an acute care setting
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or healthcare field (RN, MBBS, or RHIA)
- CCDS, CDIP, and/or a coding certification required
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a virtual setting under minimal supervision
