      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct daily pre-bill chart reviews and communicate findings to clients within 24 hours
      - Review electronic health records to identify revenue opportunities and coding compliance issues
      - Provide verbal reviews on cases with potential MS DRG recommendations to the Company Physician(s)
      - Prepare and communicate recommendations regarding reimbursements and coding adjustments to clients
      - Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations, ensuring compliance

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - AHIMA credential of CCS, CDIP, or ACDIS credential of CCDS is required
      - Minimum of 7 years of acute inpatient hospital coding, auditing, and/or CDI experience in a large tertiary hospital
      - Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS required
      - Experience with electronic health records (i.e., Cerner, Meditech, Epic, etc.) required
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - AHIMA Approved ICD-10 CM/PCS Trainer preferred
      - Graduate of an accredited Health Information Technology or Administration program with AHIMA credential of RHIT or RHIA preferred
      - Experience with CDI (Clinical Documentation Improvement) programs preferred
