What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate improvement in inpatient clinical documentation through concurrent review of medical records
- Ensure accurate physician documentation of diagnoses based on clinical evidence
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation and query physicians for clarification
- Collaborate with physicians and coders to obtain documentation reflecting patient severity of illness and risk of mortality
- Educate all members of the patient care team on documentation best practices

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of Florida, or Advanced Medical Practitioner, or International Medical Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida required, or Advanced Medical Practitioner, or International Medical Diploma

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Experience in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality Improvement, or Inpatient Coding
