What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Information Management
- Minimum of five years of recent adult acute care experience in relevant settings or hospital inpatient coding
- Current state Registered Nurse license or active credentials through AHIMA (RHIA)
- Basic computer skills and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active credential through ACDIS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or CDI Apprenticeship)
- Active credentials through AHIMA (CCS)
