      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and ensure accurate assignment and sequencing of ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes
      - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize documentation accuracy and compliance
      - Validate coding assignments using clinical coding regulations and provider documentation
      - Communicate discrepancies and coding concerns to relevant departments
      - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and coding standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or Health Information Management
      - Minimum 5 years of coding experience in an inpatient hospital setting
      - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) highly desired
      - Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS medical coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with computer-assisted coding software

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced technical skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
      - Experience with encoder and electronic medical record (EMR) software applications
      - Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
      - Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
      - Commitment to ongoing education to maintain professional credentials
