      Job summary

      The Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Community Division are looking to recruit a Quality Governance Administrator within our Community Divsion supporting with day to day operational administration tasks. This post is for 37.5 hours per week and is a permanent position.

      The Post holder will provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Quality Governance Lead. Able to work on own initiative to support the Integrated and Community Care Quality and Governance Team with all administrative duties. The post holder will work closely with the Quality Governance Lead to support the Division and Trust`s systems and processes, assuring compliance and delivery of legislative and regulatory duties.

      There is a requirement to communicate with a wide range of Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust staff, Health and Social care providers from internal and external areas.

      Main duties of the job

      To maintain responsibility for clinical governance administrative processes as directed by the quality Governance Lead.

      Provide typing, telephone, and email support to the Quality Governance Lead and team. This includes the production of a variety of Divisional weekly/monthly and quarterly reports and other documents such as quality reports, actions plans, agendas, minutes as needed.

      To maintain and support development of databases, ensuring these are continuously updated to ensure the team and Division are working on the most up to date information and data.

      Co-ordinate the various reports required for senior level meetings and relevant quality governance meetings to ensure that full reports are coordinated and provided in line with set deadlines.

      To support the team to maintain secure and confidential electronic safeguarding patient related information on the Patient Data Systems: E.G SystmOne, Nerve Centre, Careflow.

      To be confident and knowledgeable in IT systems, including Microsoft packages including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook as well as electronic patient record systems.

      To be the central point of contact for quality and governance enquiries and to ensure appropriate follow up action is taken. Maintain an awareness and sensitivity to the work needs and priorities of clinical governance ensuring time, privacy and appropriate resources are made available to ensure work is completed within deadlines.

      Co-ordinate and compile meeting documents in preparation for meetings attendance.

      • GCSE Grade C / level 5-9 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
      • Evidence of A level qualifications
      • Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft packages (esp. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

      • Certificate in Medical Terminology
      • ECDL or equivalent

      • Experience working in an NHS setting
