What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Order and prepare patient samples, such as blood and body fluids, and deliver specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Accurately label, accession, and process patient specimens according to established procedures
- Communicate procedures and specimen collection instructions with patients and clinical staff
- Operate basic laboratory equipment and automation while maintaining compliance with safety standards
- Document errors and take appropriate actions to resolve issues affecting testing outcomes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS)/RQI for healthcare providers (where applicable)
- High School diploma or GED in compliance with CLIA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
- Ability to work effectively in a team under stressful situations
- Basic computer skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in teaching concepts to others
- Previous clinical lab or pathology experience
