Job summary
Clinical Lead - Nurse - Band 7
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Base - Beacon House, Devizes
Devizes Community Team are looking for a dynamic, skilled and knowledgeable professional Nurse interested in taking on the Clinical Lead role with the team. The Clinical Lead role will give you the opportunity to use your clinical knowledge to support the team with complex patient management and focus on the provision of high quality patient care including the two hour crisis response and falls service.
We are seeking a Nurse with community experience who has the ability to be part of a Leadership team. You will be expected to lead with a team facing approach and develop quality improvement within the team. You will be required to deputise for the Community Team Manager as well as work alongside a number of GP practices. The post-holder will provide a high level of support and expert advice. You will also be expected to contribute to national and locally agreed targets of reduction in unnecessary hospital admissions and the facilitation of earlier discharges from the surrounding hospitals.
Main duties of the job
Devizes is a busy community team covering a diverse population aged 18 and above. The team is made up of nursing and therapy staff, including RGNs, OTs, Physios, NA, AP, RSWs and CSWs.
The Clinical Lead role requires you to undertake funded modules at masters Level; the post holder will be paid at Band 6 salary with uplift until the modules are completed and then will be moved to Band 7 salary.
