Job summary

If so, we invite you to join the team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner/Clinical Psychologist within the Youth Justice Service at Salford CAMHS.
This role offers the unique opportunity to work across the Salford Youth Justice Service and the Salford Community CAMHS team, delivering high-quality, needs-led, evidence-based mental health assessments and interventions. You will manage a complex caseload, provide consultation to professionals across agencies, and ensure integrated care for children, young people, and their families.
Main duties of the job
manage a complex caseload
provide care appropriate to the child or young persons needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, providing consultation to colleagues within Youth Justice and to wider networks such as social care and, Greater Manchester Police and courts and therapeutic interventions.
develop a formulation and plan for intervention, based on an appropriate conceptual framework in collaboration with the child, young person and parents/carers, communicating this to the referrer and other relevant professionals
