Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow within R&D Theme 5 (Barnet and Chase Farm), Rheumatology Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital & Edgware Community Hospital.
Main duties of the job
We are very pleased to offer the appointment of a clinical research fellow in Rheumatology and in Phase II to IV rheumatology trials to work within the R&D at the Royal Free London Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is cross site atBarnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital & Edgware Community Hospital and offers an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join a committed team of consultants in this well-developed service. As such, they will have responsibilities for patient care and recruitment into clinical trials.
The appointee will gain a range of generic and transferable skills including trial design and management and will be expected publish research manuscripts and present at national and international meetings. The post would be ideally suited to trainees who wish to strengthen their CV in pursuit specialist training or ACF positions within Rheumatology, or senior trainees looking for entry points into postgraduate research. The post will run for a 12-month period.
