What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage financial operations of clinical research projects post-award, ensuring compliance with sponsor agreements
- Develop complex clinical trial budgets for various research types, including NIH and industry-sponsored trials
- Monitor study accounts, reconcile payments, and negotiate final payments with sponsors
- Prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations to investigators and management
- Perform Medicare coverage analysis and collaborate with the Institutional Review Board for approvals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, finance, budgeting, financial analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make recommendations
- Ability to negotiate budgets and payment terms with industry sponsors

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems
- Knowledge of federal and local agency compliance, including FDA regulations
- Familiarity with Medicare coverage analysis processes
- Experience in developing standard operating procedures related to clinical trials finance
